1. Scope
These Terms of Use apply to the use of all services, applications, and offerings provided under the domain haaremy.de and its subdomains (hereinafter collectively “Services”). By registering or using a service, you agree to these terms.
Where individual services provide supplementary or differing terms (e.g. general terms and conditions for paid offerings), these will be presented separately and shall take precedence over these general Terms of Use in case of conflict.
2. Registration and Account
- Services requiring registration need an hmySSO account. A single account grants access to all linked services.
- You are responsible for the security of your account and password. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA).
- Providing false identity data during registration is prohibited.
- Only one account per natural person is permitted, unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Acceptance of the EULA is required for account creation.
- Some services may be used to a limited extent without an account (e.g. public websites, search engine, public wiki content).
3. Code of Conduct
The following is prohibited when using all services:
- Insulting, harassing, threatening, or discriminating against other users
- Distributing unlawful, violence-glorifying, pornographic, or otherwise offensive content
- Spam, unsolicited advertising, or chain letters
- Manipulating game results, exploiting bugs, or cheating
- Unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or data
- Automated access (bots, scraping, crawling) without prior written permission
- Circumventing security measures, access restrictions, or bans
- Uploading malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Misuse of the services for any unlawful purpose
- Use of the streaming service by unauthorized persons or sharing login credentials
4. User-Generated Content
You are solely responsible for all content you create, upload, or share through our services. You ensure that:
- You hold the necessary rights to the content
- No third-party rights (copyright, personality rights, trademarks) are infringed
- The content does not violate applicable law
You grant us the right to store, process, and display your content as part of service delivery (e.g. displaying messages, providing cloud files). No further use is made.
5. Storage and Resources
The use of storage space and computing resources is managed to the best of our abilities within available capacity. We reserve the right to:
- Set storage quotas for individual users or services
- Restrict access in cases of excessive resource use
- Delete inactive accounts and their data after reasonable advance notice
6. Moderation and Sanctions
We reserve the right to take the following measures in the event of violations of these Terms of Use:
- Warning – notification of the violation
- Muting – temporary restriction of communication features
- Suspension – temporary or permanent suspension of the account or individual services
- Deletion – deletion of content or the entire account
The choice of measure is at our discretion and depends on the nature and severity of the violation.
7. Intellectual Property
All content of the services (design, code, graphics, texts, trademarks) is protected by copyright and is the property of the operator or the respective licensors. User-generated content (messages, files, profile pictures, documents) remains the property of the respective user.
The open-source software components of our services are subject to their respective license terms.
8. Availability and Warranty
The services are provided free of charge and “as is”. We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee it. In particular:
- Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may lead to downtime
- There is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability
- We provide no guarantee for the permanent storage of user data – regular personal backups are recommended
9. Limitation of Liability
The operator's liability is limited as follows:
- For intent and gross negligence, we are liable without limitation
- For slight negligence, we are only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), limited to the foreseeable, typical contractual damage
- Liability for data loss is limited to the effort that would have arisen with regular data backup by the user
- Liability for user-generated content or actions of third parties is excluded
- Liability for injury to life, body, and health remains unaffected
10. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, all data associated with your account will be irreversibly removed, unless statutory retention obligations apply. User-generated content in group channels or shared documents may remain in anonymized form.
11. Changes
We reserve the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Final Provisions
- The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention.
- Should any provision of these Terms of Use be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected (severability clause).
- The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent permitted by law, Köthen (Anhalt).
